Faroe Islands

My impressions

Inspiration begets exploration—fleeting curiosities can spark lifelong dreams. With the wonder and naiveté of someone yet to explore the world, while reading the summaries of Euro qualifiers, I found the Faroe Islands as mysterious as faraway kingdoms from Norse mythology. It was on these eighteen rocks that I came close to nature, awestruck by its grandeur. On its narrow, winding roads, waves crash below and towering peaks perch above, all graced by everlasting clouds. In between, the unrelenting wind and occasional raindrops provide a soundtrack to the majesty of it all. In the Land of Maybe, add extra days to your itinerary and allow curiosities to get the better of you.
